Poles Surf Report

SATURDAY MORNING SURF REPORT (Pics Below): and we have the same knee high or less swell sticking around.. Sea breeze is already on it.. not really looking like much in the way of waves.. I stood out there for 15 minutes and maybe saw one small knee high set that would push a longboard.. Not looking like much in the waves for this weekend.. Not to mention thunderstorms are supposed to b ein the area this afternoon.. Not the Labor Day Weekend I had in mind. However a new tropical storem Felix has been named, it doesn't look like it will bring anything to the east coast, maybe the gulf, something to keep an eye on.. Felix Track click here

the pics below should say it all.. Knee high, barely rideable.. Yep, those are the set waves.. TGIF... Someone asked me what happened to my RepYourBreak report. I just want everyone to know that this is still the same report from RepYourBreak.. it is just easier to upload pics, and do the report on GHive... GHive is the new RYB it just has alot of new features. I still plan on doing 2 reports a day on the week days and when the waves are ride-able... Maybe more when it is good. Still a small knee high wave at the Poles.. But smaller than yesterday.. Barely pushing the loggers this morning..

Small... On-shore sea breeze starting to pick up and put a little texture on it... Still some thigh high lines rolling in, Only rideable wave breaking right around the Poles right now.. Low tide is at 4PM..

Thigh high plus long period lines.. Kind of racy and closing out.. The bigger sets were lining up nice.. More swell supposed to fill in today.. Worth a check at low tide this afternoon too.

Dropped in size a bit, back into the knee high range, still an inconsistent slightly larger set.. But still on the tiny side and breaking right on shore.

TUESDAY MORNING: Knee to thigh high, maybe a rare slightly larger set. Rideable, but closing out right now. May see some improvement late morning depending on the tide and wind.

Just got out at the Poles.. It was fun until about 1:30.. The wind switched and the on-shore sea breeze started picking up. It's still ride-able just mushy with a moderate chop on it.. A little smaller with the on-shores than it was a couple of hours ago.. look for more of the same all afternoon. This small scale ESE swell should be hanging around through tomorrow.. Better than nothing, good excuse to paddle around and cool off.
