The Doheny Longboard Surfing Association (DLSA) will be holding its 12th Annual Menehune Contest on Saturday, June 28th at Doheny State Beach. The contest begins promptly at 7AM and is open to boys and girls of all ages with divisions for 8 and under on up to 17 years of age. Hundreds of young competitors are expected to participate in addition to the many spectators that will line the famed Doheny State Park beach front. Applications and additional information can be picked up at local surf shops, or downloaded from the Association’s website at: http://www.dohosurf.org/
