Just wanted to give everyone a quick update...

Some of you may have noticed that your comments have not been showing up over the past few days.. Our programmer  tells us it has something to do with a "Ferret indexing" problem.. Whatever the heck that means.. Long story short, we are working around the clock to resolve this issue and we should have everything back to normal today. Thanks for the support and pardon our dust, GHive is still in Beta and we are working to improve it everyday.. So we love to hear your feedback.. I'd as you to leave a comment buuuutttttt...

We just did a MASSIVE overhaul of the Explore section! Now you can find friends, pics, video, etc...And be sure to check out the Map link.. you should be able to see a wee little dots everywhere. THAT'S YOU!!! find yourself and your friends profiles geographically on the map.. How sick is that? Go have a search for yourself... let us know what you think http://ghive.com/explore/people

Hey guys... Thanks for reading this.. We've had a KILLER 3 weeks since launch.. We've gotten some great feedback so far and our little community is growing stronger every day! Just want to keep everyone in the loop, we have a few new improvements that we are about to roll out in the next few weeks thanks to the feedback.. here they are

1. Enhanced Explore/Search feature - The first thing we are hearing is "How do I find someone/something?"... GHive is based around the idea that the more you post and comment the more you'll be seen around your local community. However, we realize the need to sift and search the vast amount of content and people that are now a part of GHive.. If you want to find a picture of just your buddy in a thong, then we should give you the resources to make that happen! With the new explore page you will be able to search through people, posts, photos and video with ease, we should have it on-line by next week.
2. My Local Surf Community - We are going to make a slight tweak to the community’s page so that by default you will see posts from the entire GHive network rather than just your local area (150 mile radious). Don’t worry, the drop-down menu will still allow you to sort the community page so that you see "locals only".
3. International GHivers - We are working to improve the GPS feature on your blog so that damn needle will stay on your location... Help is on the way our foreign friends!
