Sebastian Inlet, Fl - Cory Arrambide and Christa Alves took out their respective divisions today at the Billabong Jr Pro in testy, tricky 2 foot waves.

Cory, from Ventura, Ca had to defeat a local contingent consisting of the Geiselman brothers, Eric and Evan and Jax Beach local Evan Thompson. The Geiselman's started off the final strong, basically having a man on man final before Cory came soaring back to post scores of a 9.00 and 8.5 to take a commanding lead and hold on it to the final bell.

Christa, a local surfer took out the Jr. Women's final that consisted of 3 previous Sebastian Inlet Jr Pro winners, Courtney Conologue, Sage Erickson and Christa herself. Local surfer Haley Watson rounded out the Jr Women's final. By winning the event, and coming in 2nd, Christa and Courtney conologue find themselves ranked to be invited to the ASP World Jr Championships in Australia for 2009.
