the waves are head high on the sets with really good form, lots of barrels. i was paddling out and after ducking a wave i look over and mario is pulling into a head high tube that about 3 or 4 secs long and clean. i have not seen one of those in over a month.... it was a good day to be in nicaragua

Well we finally got power back after 7 days and the good news is MSW is saying that the winds are back to normal, offshore all day everyday.  The waves are well overhead, glassy, tubes and not a single person out, I am going up north this afternoon to surf, and it has been more than a MONTH since I caught a wave…

NASTY

It rained more than 20 inches in a day and a half, which is why we did not have power for 7 days.  Here are the locals looking at the river that was taking down everything in its path.  And the full moon tide was not helping the river flow it was backing it up into everyone’s homes.  We had two fatalities is our little town due to the river…  The only reason I went out is to get gas for the generators and I am glad I took my camera.

So we had a few friends over to play some pool, thank goodness Kelly got that pool table  And I showed them how to play some poker and the first person out had to do the dishes, I took out two at one time so they both manned up and cleaned the kitchen up nicely.  They said they have never cleaned a dish in there whole lives.

The surf is dreadful this month as it is every October, it is head high and blown out.

The sun is out for the first time in 6 days and the winds are light off shore so I took Nica (my dog) down to the beach so she could get some exercise.  The waves are well overhead but closing out a bit and Julio was the only person out.
