Time: 07:20 AM Cond: Clean Ok OK
Surf: 1-2ft+ Crowd: 1-5 surfers
Wind: W 3 mph Tides: H09:03AM - H03:26PM

MON AM: It's dropped in size since yesterday morning... but we still have some super clean well shaped lines in the water. Knee to thigh high with an occasional waist high set still possible. We may see some slight improvement here at the pier over the next hour or so as the tide fills in (H 9:03 am). Overall it's small, but still looks ridable. Current water temp 62.1 °F. Check back for the afternoon update.

The waves are very similar to yesterday.  It may be just a notch bigger, but barely.   The waves look to be about waist high and kind of funky.   Again, this swell does not appear to be hitting the pier sandbars all that well.  The general beaches got kind of fun yesterday around low tide-incoming.

Side Note: There are an estimated 150,000 to 200,000 people in the First Coast area with interest in surfing. That's nearly 20% of our population.   Last night, CBS 47 (Brian Sexton) aired  a 5 minute piece on Gabe Kling re-qualifying for the ASP World Tour.    This is a great step for local surfing.    Many big surfing markets, like Australia and Hawaii, cover surfing regularly in local news.  If you are interested in seeing surfing included more in our local media, email the Brian and the CBS team to congratulate them and ask for more!!  We have a lot of newsworthy happenings in First Coast surfing.   email: sports@cbs47.com  email: generalmanager@cbs47.com

Decent little lines coming in this morning.   It's definitely not epic, but there are a few rideable peaks every now and then in the waist high range.    It's just a bit funky looking with a weird swell angle on the pier sandbars.    Looks like we might get a little bump in the swell for tomorrow.
