SUN EARLY AM: (Sorry, no pix this am... it's too dark... headed to the gulf!). From what I could see, looks like we have continued ESE backgroundswell lines in the water this morning. Semi-choppy with a 7mph E wind on it at report time. Looks about knee to thigh high... with a waist high set possible. TROPICS: Gustav is now a strong Cat 3 Hurricane with max sus winds of 125mph. The Gulf is forecasted to get really good so keep an eye on those buoys and bring your patients for the crowds!! For the east coast, we will be getting a solid shot of ESE swell/wind swell mix from TS Hanna! As of now, it looks like Mon & Tues will be our biggest days... but the onshore winds look to be fairly strong. Overall we have a lot going on in the tropics so stay tuned to stay on top of it.
