PIER FRIDAY AFTERNOON REPORT: PHOTOS ARE FROM 11AM AND 1:30PM: Waves are still coming in at the Pier this afternoon. There is a little bump on it now with the sideshore wind but it's still really fun. Conditions might be worsening with the dropping tide so you might want to give the Poles a check if you haven't surfed yet but most breaks should stay fun throughout the day so get on it! JAX PIER - FRI 7:30 AM: Fairly disappointing at dawn. The size looks to have really dropped over night. Thigh to waist on the sets with an occasional + set wave still possible. Good shape just not as much size as I had hoped... most likely due to the lower tide. Buoys are only down about a foot or so since yesterday so stay tuned the incoming tide push should pump us back up a little. FORECAST: Ridable ENE groundswell holds into Saturday. JAX PIER - THURS (**7:30 AM - 10AM  - 1:30PM PHOTO UPDATES**): WE HAVE WAVES!!! Solid stomach to shoulder + with a NW wind at report time. This swell is still a bit lully / inconsistent, but the bigger sets are easily head+ with good shape when they do come through. Fairly light NW wind is forecasted for the rest of the day so a Low tide session could be the call! FORECAST: Solid ENE groundswell holds into Saturday. Stay tuned. PIER WEDNESDAY PM REPORT: Waves are still looking fun on this St.Patty's Day! It's in the waist to stomach high range but there is a bit of a wait between sets. A couple of the boys were out giving it a go and when it would come through it looked fun but the rain and cold was making it look not so fun inbetween sets. So if you have the time before your St.Patty's day maddness begins go for a surf. More waves on tap for tomorrow! JAX PIER - WED AM: HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY! Luck of the Irish helped and we have some waves! Nothing epic, but it was looking kind of fun at the pier with no one out. Knee to thigh occasional plus with decent shape. Looking a little fast and racy... but some occasional corners had a line to them. High tide around 9:50am so we could still see a little more tide pump over the next hour. Overall it's still on the small side, but may be worth a check if you have the time.
